A dream...A vision. I see and have run across an ocean of very talented writers. Majority of them unpublished. Sad to say, many will remain that way. As for me, Mercedes Keyes - well, I was apart of that group. As many of them have done, I have even gone so far as to entertain self-publishing. However, as I investigated this avenue, what kept bugging me, was, that I wanted to also publish! I've long admired the world of writing and every area where this skill, whether by training or natural talent touches...and that's everywhere.

It takes writers to create a song, to do a movie. It takes writers to regularly produce scripts for soaps, series, and comedy shows. It takes writers for radio scripts. It took writers to build the U.S. Constitution and laws. It takes a writer to write a speech. It takes writers for all the areas of journalism, the media, the news. There are writers who are poets. Writer's for epic novels, such as myself. Then the writers who do life stories or autobiography's; let's not forget all the informative documentaries! And of all, what has to be the ultimate writing assignment ever, the 40 writers of God's word, the Bible!

Amber Swann Publishing is about that...and then some... and me, Mercedes Keyes. When I began, it started off as something small and I thought simple, which has now grown to where I need help. And so, a blessing has come to me in many, many forms... which to my surprise, are all inside one Mr. Lawrence James. A very talented addition, editor, co-writer, partner, confidant, very best friend and since 31/01/2004 - husband.

Enter this world we've made, often dear visitor, because it is ever changing, and we are forever adding more.
