Flames of Passion: The Passionate Love Affair of Michael and Kaye

S. E. Wilde is going for her first foray into publishing, “Flames of Passion: The Passionate Love Affair of Michael and Kay,” is a cautionary tale of a tryst between, Michael Levy, a 32 year old freelance Restoration Conservationist, who happens to be Jewish, and Kaye Ellington, a successful 42 year old real estate agent, who happens to be black. Their relationship was platonic for a few months, but they could not deny the sexual attraction between them; they were both inexplicably drawn to one another, as if by fusion.

This narrative examines the angst of these two lovers, at odds with their differences; he, being Jewish and wanting to marry and to start a family, and keep to his tradition, and she, being ten years older than he, with grown children. Being successful in her field, she’s concerned with being involved with a financially unstable, young man. The situation is further complicated by the relationship with her escrow connection, his parents, who sometimes supplement Michael’s income.

The fictional tale explores a wide range of emotions, and the self imposed restrictions of Michael and Kaye. Many questions arise as to how they solve a host of problematic issues, and the decisions that are made within the confines of societal pressure.

“Flames of Passion: The Passionate Love Affair of Michael and Kaye,” is published by Dog Ear Publishing, and will be released by mid-December, 2009

Ms Wilde is currently is working on “Flames of Passion: The Novel.” and  currently resides in Southern California.
